Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iain Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Armiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Iain Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Armiger! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armiger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anderson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Anderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Armiger momentarily.
Armiger swings for the body but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Armiger takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A nice leg kick lands there from Anderson. Anderson dodges the punch combination from Armiger.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Anderson - that will leave a mark!
Anderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Anderson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Anderson moves into range and clinches up with Armiger. Anderson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Anderson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Anderson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Armiger trying to control the position here. Armiger avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Armiger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Anderson wants to control from the top but Armiger keeps moving. Armiger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Anderson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Anderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Armiger is retaining full guard. Armiger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Anderson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Armiger misses with a shot to the body enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab. Armiger just misses with a punch to the body.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Anderson. No joy there for Armiger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Armiger defends well and Anderson ends up having to push Armiger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Armiger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anderson can pounce on him.

Armiger connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Anderson's hands. Armiger misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Armiger.
Anderson has Armiger up against the cage in a clinch.
Anderson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Armiger pulls him back up using the underhooks. Anderson keeps control of Armiger as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Armiger swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The referee is keeping an eye on Anderson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Anderson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Armiger.
Armiger misses with a body punch.
Armiger tries to throw a body punch but Anderson avoids it by throwing Armiger back against the cage. Armiger misses with the head strike.
Nice body punch from Anderson - that landed with a thud.
Anderson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson stalling. Armiger is looking for a sweep. Anderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Anderson trying to control the action but Armiger is working from the bottom. Armiger keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Anderson wants to take a breather but Armiger is having none of it. Armiger wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iain Anderson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Anderson forces Armiger back against the cage and clinches. Armiger is pressed up against the cage. Anderson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Armiger down to the mat. Armiger avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Armiger jabbing away but nothing is landing. A counter left hand to the body from Anderson misses its target. Armiger stuffs the takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Armiger misses with a combination
and Anderson counters by moving into the clinch. Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Armiger can do to turn this around? Armiger blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Anderson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Armiger is trying to keep an underhook but Anderson manages to get the takedown into half guard. Armiger gets full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Armiger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Armiger wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Armiger keeping full guard, as Anderson tries to pass.

Our spies down at at Devils Den New York inform us that Armiger has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Anderson works over Armiger with some ground and pound from guard. Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Armiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson stands and throws Armiger's legs to the side, diving into side control. Anderson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Armiger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it. Anderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Armiger to the mat! Armiger manages to get full guard. Anderson trying to control but Armiger is working from the bottom. Armiger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson stands and throws Armiger's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson tries to advance to mount but can't. Armiger is looking to regain half guard here but Anderson keeps moving and retains side control. Anderson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Anderson tries for a kimura but Armiger is defending well. Anderson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Armiger controls the position for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Armiger doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Armiger. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet. Armiger is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Anderson rather than just go for the knockout. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Armiger wants to break the clinch but can't.
Anderson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Armiger avoids it. Anderson lands a nice elbow. Anderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Armiger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anderson. Anderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Armiger, pushing him back against the cage. Anderson has Armiger pressed against the cage.
Armiger being controlled against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Anderson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Anderson breaks from the clinch.
John Armiger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armiger scores with a jab. Anderson lands a leg kick that knocks Armiger off balance momentarily. Armiger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively. Armiger throws a right and a left that Anderson avoids nicely. Armiger slips a straight right by Anderson. Armiger fails to land with a series of punches.
Anderson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Armiger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This has been an exciting period of action! Armiger slaps away a takedown attempt from Anderson, before circling back to the center of the mat. No joy there for Armiger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Armiger does no damage. Armiger takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Anderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Armiger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iain Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Anderson.

Armiger throws a nice looking combination but Anderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Anderson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Armiger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Armiger wants it to stay on the feet. Anderson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Armiger throws out the jab. Anderson is looking to counter the offense by Armiger and move into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Anderson takes the fight into the clinch. Anderson has picked Armiger up - he's going for a ride! Anderson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Armiger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Anderson scores with a couple of nice shots. John Armiger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anderson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Armiger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to John Armiger. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
