The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Iki shoots in but no luck this time.
Iki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tyke Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Iki is defended easily by Mitchell.
Tyke Mitchell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Iki.
Mitchell scores with a one two! Iki had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Max Iki has been cut.
Mitchell drops Iki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Iki looks back up at him and smiles so Mitchell waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Iki forces Mitchell back against the ropes and clinches.

Iki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Mitchell tries to land knees in the clinch but Iki avoids the damage to the body.

Mitchell is trying to maintain a safe position but Iki gets an underhook and turns Mitchell into the ropes.

Mitchell moves in close and cracks Iki with a massive right hand! Iki, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Mitchell!
