Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Goodridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lauri Vasen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodridge tries to clinch up but Vasen circles away and keeps his distance.
Vasen tries for a takedown but Goodridge sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vasen moves out of range as Goodridge throws a body kick.
Goodridge closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vasen to the mat! Vasen manages to get full guard.
Vasen is working an open guard so Goodridge takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Vasen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vasen looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Goodridge has picked Vasen up and slammed him! Vasen can't keep hold of the triangle and Goodridge manages to pass to side control!
