Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Masakazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaddeus Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masakazu comes to the cage accompanied by Roken / DEEP MACS HEADBANGERS. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuki Masakazu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thaddeus Fitzgerald!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald's corner calls for a 1-2. Fitzgerald obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fitzgerald connects with a good right hand that stumbles Masakazu. Masakazu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Masakazu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Masakazu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fitzgerald manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fitzgerald wants to sweep but no luck.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fitzgerald holds on and takes a little breather.
Masakazu works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Masakazu seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Fitzgerald has recovered full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Masakazu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fitzgerald doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Masakazu.
Masakazu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Masakazu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fitzgerald defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thaddeus Fitzgerald dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fitzgerald cracks Masakazu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Masakazu shoots in looking for a takedown. Fitzgerald tries to sprawl out of it but Masakazu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fitzgerald manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fitzgerald cracks Masakazu's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Masakazu slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Fitzgerald can do further damage! This one is done, son!

During a confident post fight interview, Thaddeus Fitzgerald thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Yuki Masakazu spoke after the fight, saying 'He got lucky! I'll be back!'.
