The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Liddell throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vini.
Mathias Vini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell is looking to chop away at Vini's legs.
Vini attempts a counter takedown but Liddell avoids it well and moves away.
Liddell walks forward, straight into a front kick from Vini.
A head kick from Vini lands but Liddell takes it in his stride.
Vini fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Liddell blocks a head kick by Vini.
Liddell needs to keep his hands up - Vini had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Vini looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vini cracks Liddell with a right hand to the side of the head.
Liddell tries to clinch there but Vini circles away.
Vini seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for Vini.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vini tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Good shot there by Vini.
Liddell is rocked!
Vini lands with a right and another and another! Liddell is in big trouble! Vini lands again and this time it's lights out for Liddell! A quality knockout there for Vini.
