Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denerson Lage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bacovia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bacovia looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lage!

Lage throws Bacovia to one side and escapes!

Bacovia closes the distance and clinches.
Lage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lage shoots in looking for a takedown. Bacovia tries to sprawl out of it but Lage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bacovia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

George Bacovia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bacovia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lage somewhat.
Bacovia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It looked like Lage was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bacovia.

Bacovia throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lage tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bacovia is in Lage's guard.
