Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Pistone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orkan Dogu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pistone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bonobo - The Sicilians. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Orkan Dogu!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pistone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pistone misses with a looping left.
Dogu throws a jab but it's blocked by Pistone.
Dogu throws a body punch but Pistone moves out of range.
Pistone misses with a head kick.
Dogu just misses with a punch to the body.
Pistone takes one on the button.
Pistone swings for the body but Dogu moves out of range.
Dogu throws a lazy uppercut
and Pistone makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pistone leaves Dogu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pistone is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Dogu throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pistone was covering up waiting for the punch and Dogu finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pistone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dogu is sitting in close to Pistone's body. Pistone has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dogu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dogu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pistone.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Joe Pistone!
After the fight, Joe Pistone was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
