Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Corrigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neculai Costel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corrigan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Teardrop. Costel has chosen Ain't No Sunshine as his entrance music. Mark Corrigan has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corrigan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Costel tries to counter with a clinch but Corrigan shakes him off and moves away.
Costel tries to clinch but Corrigan moves out of range.
Costel cracks Corrigan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A nice leg kick lands there from Costel.
Corrigan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Costel but Costel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Costel gets caught flat footed, as Corrigan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corrigan advances position into side control!
Costel is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Corrigan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Corrigan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Costel keeps working.
Costel wants to improve his position but Corrigan is controlling well.
Corrigan is trying to control the action in half guard but Costel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
