Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Bain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven DeNomee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeNomee has chosen XXL as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Steven DeNomee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stephen Bain! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven DeNomee! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeNomee wants to clinch up but Bain keeps it at a distance. DeNomee tries to clinch up. DeNomee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. DeNomee decides to take the fight back to the feet. DeNomee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
DeNomee tries to clinch but Bain moves out of range. DeNomee stuffs the takedown. Good exchange - Bain coming out on top. DeNomee moves in looking to clinch but Bain pushes him off. DeNomee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Bain counter with a right hand. DeNomee tries for a takedown but Bain circles away easily and Bain counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Steven DeNomee has been cut. DeNomee fails with the takedown and Bain counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stephen Bain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven DeNomee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says DeNomee as he avoids it easily. Bain gets caught flat footed, as DeNomee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. DeNomee won't allow Bain to sweep him here. Bain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but DeNomee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. DeNomee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take DeNomee's back instead. Bain is breathing heavily. DeNomee holding both Bain 's hands and preventing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DeNomee showing good submission defense here.
DeNomee tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
That's two minutes gone in the round. DeNomee squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
DeNomee is wriggling around trying to escape.
DeNomee tries to lock up and control but Bain gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bain trying to control but DeNomee is having none of it. DeNomee is trying to stand. Bain has hold of DeNomee's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and DeNomee manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
DeNomee is looking to improve his position but Bain isn't that keen on the idea. Bain lands a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeNomee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bain wants to finish this one by submission but DeNomee is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bain. Bain trying to control but DeNomee is having none of it. DeNomee bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Bain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. DeNomee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bain is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. DeNomee gets to his feet. Bain looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Steven DeNomee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. DeNomee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bain counters with a nice double leg into side control. DeNomee won't be happy with that. DeNomee is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bain is controlling him well. Bain working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. DeNomee is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bain has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bain tries for a kimura but DeNomee is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. DeNomee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bain's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Bain dominated that round. The cut man is working on Steven DeNomee's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
DeNomee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bain is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but DeNomee pulls his head out easily. Bain taking some punishment here, with DeNomee in his half guard. Bain looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. DeNomee stands up out of the half guard. DeNomee darts in trying to clinch and Bain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeNomee shoots in and bounces Bain off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. DeNomee controls the pace of the fight for a moment. DeNomee gets to his feet - Bain follows without any prompting. DeNomee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. DeNomee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A left lands for Bain. Bain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DeNomee as he jumps to the side. Bain circles away from the clinch attempt.
DeNomee fails in his attempt to clinch. DeNomee with a lazy takedown attempt and Bain counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Steven DeNomee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bain connects with a high kick. Bain plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! DeNomee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bain counters with a left and a right that stings DeNomee. DeNomee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bain but Bain pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stephen Bain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven DeNomee. DeNomee tries to clinch up but Bain circles away and keeps his distance. Bain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bain stuffs the takedown attempt from DeNomee. DeNomee gets slowly back to his feet. Bain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeNomee is working to get back to half guard.
Bain lands with some strikes. Bain lands with some strikes. Bain postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. DeNomee looks a forlorn figure.
Bain goes for an armbar but DeNomee turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from DeNomee. DeNomee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bain is proving hard to escape from. Bain looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but DeNomee is defending well. Bain quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! DeNomee has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bain celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stephen Bain! Stephen Bain retains his heavyweight title!
