Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chevie Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razval Saraev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Razval Saraev was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chevie Case! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Razval Saraev! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Case wants to land a leg kick but Saraev is out of range. A big left from Saraev misses. Case slips a jab from Saraev. Case misses with an attempted mid kick.
Saraev is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Case scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Case throws a low kick but it's checked well by Saraev. Case throws a shot from downtown. Saraev moves away and avoids it. Saraev changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. An inside leg kick from Case misses. Case punishes Saraev's body with a nice straight punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Case throws a lazy right hand but Saraev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Case fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Saraev swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Case blocks a jab. Saraev checks a low kick from Case. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Case. A leg kick checked by Saraev. Saraev changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Some bone on bone action there as Saraev checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Case throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saraev sees it coming and avoids it easily. Case lands with a slapping head kick. Saraev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Case. Case ducks under a wild hook from Saraev. A bone on bone clash there as Saraev blocks the leg kick.
Saraev drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Case defends it well. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Case. Saraev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saraev avoids the head kick by Case.
A big right from Case misses. Case keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Case blocks a jab. Saraev stuffs the takedown attempt from Case. Case gets slowly back to his feet. Saraev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Case. Saraev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Case. Saraev feints the counter takedown. Case misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saraev drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Case defends it well. Case walks into a jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Case attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Saraev blocks the body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Case. Saraev does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saraev shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Saraev showed some decent athleticism there. Saraev missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Saraev sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Case defending well though. Case controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Saraev not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Case trying to control here.
Saraev wants to take a breather but Case is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Case keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Saraev missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've been informed that Saraev has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Saraev thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Case keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Case is holding on to half guard well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Saraev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Case connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Saraev scrambles back to his feet. Case misses with an attempted mid kick.
Case goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Case staying out of range there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chevie Case dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Saraev throws a body shot but no joy. Case throws a body kick that misses. A telegraphed right hand from Saraev misses the target. Case throws a low kick, looking for Saraev's leg but Saraev calmly moves out of range. Chevie Case is winning the standup battle so far. Case swings away with a leg kick that misses. Saraev changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Saraev ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Case tries to land a front kick but Saraev steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Saraev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Case. Case tries to work over Saraev's front leg with a kick but Saraev checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Case throws a looping overhand right but Saraev ducks down to avoid it. Saraev tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Case misses with a leg kick and Saraev counters with a single leg into guard. Case didn't expect that. Saraev trying to control but Case is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Case is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Case not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saraev controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Saraev is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Case looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saraev is one step ahead there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Case is on top in guard.

Case trying to control the position from guard on top but Saraev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Case tries to free his leg and advance position but Saraev is retaining full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Saraev jabs at Case's body. Saraev checks the leg kick. Saraev feints the counter takedown. Saraev moves out of range of the body kick from Case.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Case lands a front kick. Saraev scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Case wants to control but Saraev postures up. Saraev throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Case takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The strikes coming from Saraev are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Saraev cracks Case with a big right hand but Case just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Saraev misses with an attempted head punch from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Razval Saraev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Case fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saraev manages to avoid it. Case lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A low kick from Case is predictable there and Saraev counters with a shoot takedown. Case fights it but they end up in guard. Saraev landing with the ground and pound. Case not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Saraev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Case swivels though and keeps the full guard. Saraev lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saraev stopping the sweep attempt from Case. Saraev working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Saraev cracks Case with a solid left hand.

Saraev postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Case is trying to control the position but Saraev postures up. Saraev missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Saraev won't allow Case to sweep him here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Case keeping full guard, as Saraev tries to pass.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Case slips under a jab from Saraev. Case feinted there with a counter leg kick. Case displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saraev throws out the jab. Case throws a body punch but Saraev moves out of range. Case's jab looks to have found its range, popping Saraev under the eye. Case misses with a leg kick so Saraev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chevie Case has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Saraev lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Case preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Saraev sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Case's guard. Saraev slips a nice elbow through Case's hands, connecting with Case's forehead. Saraev not landing any meaningful shots this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saraev connects with a nice short shot to Case's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saraev sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Case defending well though. Case blocking the ground and pound attempt from Saraev. Case trying to control from the bottom.
Saraev is pressing down on Case's thigh, looking to free his foot. Case is holding on for now. Saraev winds up and cracks Case with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Saraev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Case's head. Case has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Saraev is working away from the top position though. Case looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Saraev wants to control but Case is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Case has hold of Saraev's hands but Saraev slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Case is trying to control but can't.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Saraev shoots for a double leg takedown but Case sprawls well. He's pushed Saraev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Case looks for the body kick but Saraev saw that one coming. A clash of legs there as Saraev blocks the low kick. Saraev is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Saraev tries to move into range but Case moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Case swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Case misses with a head kick.

And that's the end of the fight! Razval Saraev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Saraev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
