Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolae Filimon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kina has chosen Savages by Theory of a Deadman as his entrance music. Mike Kina has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nicolae Filimon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kina wants to clinch up but Filimon keeps it at a distance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kina accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Filimon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kina gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kina gets to his feet. Filimon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kina lands a big head kick that sends Filimon tumbling to the mat! Kina takes a step backwards and waves Filimon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kina misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kina shoots for a takedown but Filimon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Filimon tries to counter with a takedown but Kina is quick to defend against it.

and Filimon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kina's guard.

Filimon loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kina scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Filimon land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Filimon stands and salutes the crowd.
