Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Aurelius!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Aurelius, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aurelius looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A nice inside leg kick there by Costa. That's going to slow Aurelius down.
Costa dodges the punch combination from Aurelius.
Costa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aurelius. That did some damage!
Aurelius has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Costa.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Costa.
Aurelius rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Costa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Aurelius takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Costa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Costa lets loose with a powerful body kick. Aurelius will feel that in the morning.
Costa moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Costa.
Costa tries to clinch up but Aurelius circles away and keeps his distance.
Good leg kick by Costa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Costa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aurelius. That did some damage!
Aurelius swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Costa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A left lands for Costa.

Costa connects with an inside leg kick.
Costa lands with a slapping head kick.
Vinicius Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Costa feints and then cracks Aurelius's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aurelius down.

Aurelius has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Costa.

Costa moves in looking to clinch but Aurelius pushes him off.
Aurelius lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Costa throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Aurelius keeps the fight on the outside.

Costa doesn't manage to clinch there - Aurelius circles away.

Costa wants to clinch.
Costa feints and then cracks Aurelius's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aurelius down.
Costa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Costa throws a nice outside leg kick.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Costa.
Costa pushes Aurelius away with a front kick.
A good leg kick by Costa.
Costa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Aurelius is rocked!
Costa jabs at Aurelius's body.
Aurelius is still on wobbly legs! Can Costa finish him?
A solid leg kick lands there for Costa.
Aurelius seems to have recovered his senses.
Costa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aurelius paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aurelius wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vinicius Costa dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Aurelius misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Costa scores with a kick to the body.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Costa - that will leave a mark!
Aurelius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Costa thumps Aurelius with a low kick.
Costa sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Aurelius to the ground! Costa dives into full mount looking to finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Costa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Costa is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Aurelius has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Aurelius has given up his back here. Will Costa look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Aurelius is breathing heavily.

Costa is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Aurelius taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Costa.
