The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weffart pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Faces back to the cage. Weffart follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Weffart gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Faces counters with a takedown into side control.
Faces cracks Weffart with a big right hand but Weffart just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Weffart is rocked!
Faces in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Weffart is still in real trouble! Can Faces finish him?

Faces decides to stand back up. Faces steps back and let's Weffart get back to his feet.
Weffart shoots and misses
and Faces counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Weffart badly! Faces follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Weffart out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Faces finished him against the cage.
