Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Marciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bariga Cocainich!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano shoots in for a double leg but Cocainich sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marciano throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cocainich with the counter takedown but Marciano avoids it easily.
Marciano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Marciano goes for a double leg but Cocainich avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cocainich continues to drive forward.
A head kick by Marciano misses
and Cocainich counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Marciano is trying to keep Cocainich in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cocainich wants to pass the guard but Marciano is keeping the position.
Cocainich sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marciano's guard.
Marciano won't allow Cocainich to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cocainich is still trying to improve position.
Cocainich is nestled in close to Marciano, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Cocainich frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cocainich tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Marciano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cocainich on the ground.
Marciano is looking to get to half guard.
Cocainich lands a couple of good shots and Marciano has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cocainich connects with a couple of big shots that have Marciano covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Marciano! Cocainich fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bariga Cocainich!
A less than humble Bariga Cocainich misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
