Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse McGulloch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGulloch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McGulloch lands a high kick!
It looks like Josh Barnett has been cut.
Barnett tries for a takedown but McGulloch circles away easily
and McGulloch counters with a straight right hand.
McGulloch avoids the body shot from Barnett.
McGulloch clobbers Barnett with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGulloch cracks Barnett with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McGulloch has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barnett to stand back up!
Barnett is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGulloch and Barnett are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. McGulloch throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Barnett into next week! Ooooh that was huge! McGulloch knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jesse McGulloch!
