Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Zyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stumpy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zyb comes to the cage accompanied by "Battle" by Gangstarr. The key to victory for Chris Zyb has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stumpy Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson avoids the head kick by Zyb.
Zyb misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Johnson.
Zyb explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Zyb lands a high kick!
Zyb throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Zyb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Zyb has a hand on Johnson's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Johnson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Zyb wants to hold on but Johnson pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Johnson cracks Zyb with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Johnson scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Zyb is rocked!
Johnson cracks Zyb with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stumpy Johnson!
