Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piere De Crote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Tuomioja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuomioja comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The boys are back in town kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Piere De Crote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Tuomioja!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Crote steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tuomioja.
Tuomioja uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from De Crote.
Tuomioja fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Crote, pushing him back against the ropes.
Tuomioja tries to circle away but De Crote has him pinned against the ropes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tuomioja.
I was talking to De Crote's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tuomioja escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Crote fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tuomioja avoids it really well and circles away.
Tuomioja tries to sprawl but De Crote drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Crote is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tuomioja sees it coming and defends easily.
De Crote stops Tuomioja from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De Crote is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tuomioja is just riding it out for now. De Crote eventually gives up the hold.
De Crote seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tuomioja is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Piere De Crote!
