Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kanye Weste (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weste kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stronger - Kanye Weste. Kanye Weste has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weste jabs Taylor right on the nose. Taylor blinks but takes it well.
Taylor misses the shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Weste. Taylor does a little dance to reset his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Taylor has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taylor, as that shot connected.
Weste misses with a hook. Taylor ducked under it nicely.

The crowd cheers as Taylor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Weste doesn't seem phased though.

Weste throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

And Taylor tries to counter it with a takedown but Weste pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Taylor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Taylor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Taylor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Weste is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Taylor closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Weste quickly recovers to half guard.

Taylor is looking to work his way around to Weste's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Taylor swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Weste is now in Taylor's guard. A big mistake from Taylor there, giving up the dominant position!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Weste sitting in guard here, content to control.
Weste tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard.

Taylor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weste doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Weste manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Weste will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kanye Weste.
I think Weste has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Kanye Weste started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
