Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walood Kassab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Perez Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kassab comes into the arena with Merauder - Life Is Pain blaring out of the sound system. Walood Kassab has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Walood Kassab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Perez Jr! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez Jr goes for a double leg but Kassab avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kassab continues to drive forward. Perez Jr tries to keep at a distance but Kassab has taken the fight into the clinch. Kassab is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Perez Jr can't fight it off and eventually Kassab manages to take the fight to the floor. Perez Jr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kassab working some strikes from top position. Kassab throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Perez Jr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kassab looking to pass the guard. Kassab connects with a couple of short punches. Perez Jr working for a triangle but Kassab defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez Jr lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Perez Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Kassab is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez Jr might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kassab haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kassab is looking to stand up but Perez Jr isn't so interested in that idea. Kassab has his hands on Perez Jr's head, controlling the position. Kassab keeping moving, preventing Perez Jr from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kassab bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Perez Jr's guard. Kassab connects with a couple of short punches. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kassab keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Perez Jr's head. Kassab landing with the ground and pound. Kassab lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Perez Jr is rocked! Perez Jr throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Perez Jr is still in real trouble! Can Kassab finish him? Kassab arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Perez Jr's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Walood Kassab! A very excited looking Walood Kassab rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
