Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Craig Nice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Aragao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Aragao has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Craig Nice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Aragao! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice clinches with his opponent.
Nice being controlled against the cage. Aragao tries for a takedown but Nice manages to get underhooks.
Aragao fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nice has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Aragao clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Aragao trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Aragao manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nice's guard. Nice work there by Aragao.
Nice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aragao on the ground. Aragao is pushing down on Nice's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nice is fighting to maintain full guard but Aragao has managed to sneak the leg through. Nice is looking for a sweep. Aragao is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Aragao seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nice does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Aragao trying to mount his opponent but Nice defends it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Aragao lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aragao tries to pass to full mount but Nice defends it. Aragao looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nice misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nice wants to control but Aragao is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nice missing with punches from the bottom.
Aragao sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Nice manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Aragao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aragao won't allow Nice to sweep him here. Nice might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Aragao cracks Nice with a solid left hand. Nice is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Aragao wants to control from the top but Nice keeps moving. Aragao avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Aragao wants to stand but Nice is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Aragao goes for a double leg but Nice avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nice continues to drive forward. Craig Nice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Aragao. Aragao misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice rushes Aragao and presses him up against the cage. Nice lands with a left to the head. Aragao stalling in the clinch but Nice improves position. Come on Nice - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Nice ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nice no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Nice can't keep his opponent in guard - Aragao advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Nice kicks off Aragao and gets to his feet. Craig Nice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice looks for a takedown but Aragao sprawls well. Aragao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nice defends well and Aragao ends up having to push Nice into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Aragao dives in and grabs Nice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nice pushes down on Aragao's head and hops out. Aragao looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aragao fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nice attempts a counter takedown but Aragao avoids it well and moves away. Nice throws a head kick that misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Aragao. Nice does a little dance to reset his feet. A head kick misses from Nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice leaves Aragao with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. As Aragao looks to move away, Nice throws a big counter combo bu Aragao just gets out of the way. Nice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Aragao tries to keep at a distance but Nice has taken the fight into the clinch. Nice breaks the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nice. Aragao can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Nice dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice closes the distance and pushes Aragao back into the cage. Aragao pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice lands with a kick to the temple. Aragao shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Jon Aragao has been cut. Nice gets a double leg takedown into Aragao's guard. Aragao is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nice has his hands clasped together but Aragao extends and breaks Nice's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Aragao.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jon Aragao!
