Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Burgher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Carter's choice of entrance music: John Carter of Mars. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harrison Burgher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Carter! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Burgher takes a body punch but keeps moving. Carter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Carter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Carter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Burgher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Carter throws out a counter right but Burgher avoids it with no problem. Carter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Burgher drops down looking for a counter takedown but Carter sprawls and moves away. Carter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Burgher at a distance.
Carter lands a right hook to the body.
Carter scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nice takedown defense from Carter. No joy for Burgher on that attempt. Carter scores with a nice head shot. Burgher takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Decent striking displayed by Carter there. John Carter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Burgher drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Burgher is rocked! Carter is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Burgher flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Burgher is out cold! Carter holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Carter! John Carter decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
