Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ardian Kurniawan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ardian Kurniawan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Lang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ardian Kurniawan! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurniawan shoots in looking for a takedown. Lang tries to sprawl out of it but Kurniawan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kurniawan. Kurniawan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lang was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Mark Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ardian Kurniawan. Horrible takedown attempt by Kurniawan or perhaps it was just good defense by Lang, which made it look bad. Lang connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurniawan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Lang on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kurniawan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lang connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lang, as that shot connected.
Kurniawan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lang circles away. Lang is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kurniawan. Kurniawan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lang but Lang pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kurniawan fails with a takedown attempt. Lang scores with a sloppy right hand. Kurniawan should have avoided that one. Lang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lang wants it to stay on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurniawan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lang swivels and escapes. Kurniawan shoots and misses letting Lang counter with a right hand. Kurniawan shoots and misses and Lang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kurniawan fails with a takedown attempt. Kurniawan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lang as he avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Lang misses the target. Kurniawan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kurniawan tries for a takedown but Lang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lang uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kurniawan has his takedown stuffed and Lang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lang stuns Kurniawan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurniawan with a lazy takedown attempt and Lang counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kurniawan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lang as he avoids it easily. Kurniawan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kurniawan misses with a takedown and Lang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lang lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Kurniawan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lang counters with a nice uppercut. Kurniawan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lang counters with a stiff right hand. Kurniawan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lang as he jumps to the side. Lang appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kurniawan shoots in but no luck this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lang lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kurniawan fails with the takedown and Lang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lang lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ardian Kurniawan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurniawan tries for a takedown but Lang circles away easily and Lang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kurniawan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kurniawan somewhat. Kurniawan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Lang dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Lang lands a body shot.
Kurniawan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lang defends it nicely. Lang appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kurniawan slips under a jab from Lang. Lang misses with a few strikes there.
Lang throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kurniawan has time to react. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurniawan fails with a takedown attempt. A quick step to the side and Lang tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kurniawan. Mark Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ardian Kurniawan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurniawan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lang counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kurniawan tries for a takedown but Lang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mark Lang is winning the standup battle so far. Lang cracks Kurniawan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kurniawan momentarily.
Kurniawan is rocked! Lang is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Kurniawan with a lazy takedown attempt and Lang counters with a crisp right that sends Kurniawan to the canvas! Lang follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lang!
