Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spar McBot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jar Jar Binks! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Binks fails in his attempt to clinch. Binks tries to move into range but McBot moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. McBot takes the fight into the clinch. McBot breaks from the clinch.
Binks drops his hands momentarily and McBot takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. McBot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Binks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Binks tries to clinch up but McBot circles away and keeps his distance. McBot closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Binks's guard. McBot missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McBot stays in close to Binks's body and controls the position. McBot postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. McBot is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. McBot distracts Binks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. McBot is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McBot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. McBot forces his way into half guard. McBot passes to full mount! McBot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. McBot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Binks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McBot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McBot scoring with strikes but Binks is staying in there.
It looks like Jar Jar Binks has been cut. McBot has isolated one of Binks's arms. Binks looking to fight him off but McBot twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
