Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamaal Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teddy Dean is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Teddy Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamaal Charles! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charles lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. An inside leg kick lands from Charles. Charles lands with a thumping leg kick.
Charles misses with a few strikes there.
Dean feinted with a counter takedown. Charles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dean keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Charles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dean half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Charles misses with a straight left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A leg kick checked by Dean. Dean changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. The crowd cheers as Charles lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dean doesn't seem phased though. Charles throws a good cross that connects.

That's one minute gone in the round. Charles displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Dean avoids the body shot from Charles.
Charles throws a shot from downtown. Dean moves away and avoids it. Dean tries to counter with a takedown but Charles is quick to defend against it. Charles tries to clinch there but Dean circles away.
Dean half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Charles throws a nice head kick!
Charles swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dean decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Charles's guard. Charles has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dean is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dean has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Charles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Charles leaning his opponent against the cage. Charles lands with a light punch inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles pushes Dean back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Charles digs a right hand into Dean's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dean's gas tank. Charles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Charles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dean circles away quickly and effectively. Dean attempts a counter takedown but Charles avoids it well and moves away. Charles throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dean drops down looking for a counter takedown but Charles sprawls and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles misses with the combination.

Dean tries to counter with a takedown but Charles is quick to defend against it. Charles throws a big shot that misses. Dean tries to counter with a takedown but Charles is quick to defend against it. Charles throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dean drops down looking for a counter takedown but Charles sprawls and moves away. Charles throws a right and a left that both miss. Charles tries to bum rush Dean with a series of wild strikes but Dean uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Charles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dean. Dean takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Charles will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles lands with an uppercut that bounces Dean off the cage and back into range. Dean has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Charles. Charles pushes Dean away with a front kick. A good leg kick by Charles. Charles lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dean on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Charles. Charles obviously looking to wear him down.
Charles lands a leg kick that knocks Dean off balance momentarily. A punch combination from Charles misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamaal Charles dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dean has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Charles closes the distance and pushes Dean back into the cage. Charles lands a left hand.
Charles will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dean up against the cage. Charles has Dean pushed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Charles tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Charles's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Charles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dean! Charles misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dean is looking to reverse the position. Charles stands up. Charles closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Charles lands in his opponent's guard. Dean working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles wanted to stand there but Dean had control of the position. Dean has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Charles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Charles is stalling in the full guard. Charles avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Charles stays in close to Dean's body and controls the position. Charles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dean is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles controls from within his opponent's guard. Dean has his foot on Charles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Charles works his way back into a safe position though. Charles would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Charles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Charles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Charles stands up from Dean's guard - Charles perhaps looking for a knockout. Charles cracks Dean with a good jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dean takes a kick to the side of the head. Charles throws a nice looking combination but Dean bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Charles lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dean at a distance.
Jamaal Charles seems to be getting the better of the standup. Charles dips to his left and cracks Dean with an uppercut! Jamaal Charles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Charles finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dean drops down looking for a counter takedown but Charles sprawls and moves away. Charles fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dean. Charles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A punch combination from Charles misses. Charles has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Charles looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Charles paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamaal Charles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Dean tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Some wild striking there from Charles.
Charles throws a leg kick but Dean sees it coming and checks it nicely. Charles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dean. Dean feinted with a counter takedown. Dean takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Charles misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dean checks a leg kick. Dean appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Charles.
Charles ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Charles tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dean is able to avoid easily. Dean drops down looking for a counter takedown but Charles sprawls and moves away. Charles lands with a hook. Dean tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Charles throws a solid leg kick but Dean takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Charles. Dean has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Charles finds it's way round the side to connect with Dean's head. A jab from Charles finds it's way through Dean's defenses. Charles scores with a one two! Dean had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles lands a jab to the nose. Charles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dean appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Charles throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dean's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Charles throws a leg kick and Dean counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dean seems to be working for a kimura but Charles defends the submission attempt. Dean wants to work for an arm triangle but Charles is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Dean prevents Charles from improving his position. Jamaal Charles has got the better of the ground game so far. Charles kicks Dean off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Charles does it's job there. Charles has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Charles jabs Dean right on the nose. Dean blinks but takes it well. A left and a right from Charles both land. Nice combination. Charles lands a nice hook to Dean's body. Dean takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Charles throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dean counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dean postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Charles is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dean, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dean is trying to control the position but Charles postures up. Teddy Dean has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jamaal Charles is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Charles seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jamaal Charles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Charles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
