Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Polinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milovan Rakic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milovan Rakic has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kai Polinsky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kai Polinsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Milovan Rakic! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Polinsky. Rakic is looking to regain half guard here but Polinsky keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Rakic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rakic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Polinsky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rakic prevents Polinsky from improving position. Polinsky could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rakic is trying to control Polinsky's posture but Polinsky avoids it. Rakic sneaks back into half guard. Rakic tries to get to full guard but Polinsky has control of the leg. Rakic regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakic managing to control the position. Polinsky postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rakic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Polinsky, into his guard. Polinsky has an active guard here but Rakic has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Polinsky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rakic is working away from the top position though. Rakic content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rakic is looking to advance position but Polinsky won't allow it. Rakic is controlling the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. I looks like Rakic might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polinsky tries to roll over but Rakic keeps him under control. Rakic trying to mount his opponent but Polinsky defends it. Rakic takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rakic passes the guard and advances to mount! Polinsky is looking to improve his position but Rakic isn't that keen on the idea. Rakic looking to control and managing it successfully. Polinsky tries to reverse the position but Rakic maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rakic controlling from mount.
Despite being in the dominant position, Milovan Rakic just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Polinsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rakic, pushing him back against the cage. Rakic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Polinsky walks away with a smile on his face. Rakic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Polinsky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rakic as he jumps to the side. Polinsky tries to clinch but Rakic moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rakic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Polinsky tries to avoid it but Rakic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Polinsky to the ground. Polinsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Polinsky fails with the takedown and Rakic counters with a shoot takedown. Polinsky fights it but they end up in guard. Rakic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Polinsky looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rakic passes into side control.
Polinsky struggling a bit here. Rakic happy to just control the position for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Polinsky is looking to improve his position.
Well, if Rakic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Milovan Rakic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rakic throws a sloppy head kick and Polinsky moves out of range easily. Rakic gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rakic is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Polinsky stands and throws Rakic's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rakic is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polinsky with the ground and pound but Rakic uses the opportunity to regain guard. Rakic is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rakic tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rakic lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Polinsky! Polinsky keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Polinsky doesn't succeed with the takedown so Rakic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rakic controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rakic stands up from Polinsky's guard - Rakic perhaps looking for a knockout. Kai Polinsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Polinsky misses with a takedown and Rakic counters with a takedown into side control. Rakic moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Rakic works to advance to full mount. Polinsky defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
And that's the end of the fight! Milovan Rakic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Rakic winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
