Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Womack Ii swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Salazar feints the counter takedown.
Womack Ii cracks Salazar with a right hand to the side of the head.
Womack Ii takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch but Womack Ii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Salazar drives through and clinches with Womack Ii against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salazar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Womack Ii's guard.
