Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Devon Sherwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Some Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherwood comes to the cage accompanied by Devil on my shoulder. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dude throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Sherwood counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sherwood.
Sherwood advances to half guard.
Dude is looking to improve his position.
Sherwood lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Sherwood lands with a punch from half guard.
Sherwood working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sherwood is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dude doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sherwood.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sherwood lands a nice short elbow.
Sherwood passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dude!

Dude is desperately trying to improve his position but Sherwood has a good base and remains in mount.

Dude tries to hold on but Sherwood postures up.
The referee warns Dude that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sherwood with shots to the head and body - Dude looks very uncomfortable down there.
Dude is looking to get to half guard.
Sherwood landing strikes from the mount and Dude is in trouble!
Dude is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sherwood putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dude is bucking up trying to escape but Sherwood cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dude tries to lock up and control but Sherwood gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dude is still in real trouble! Can Sherwood finish him?
Sherwood pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Sherwood is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dude is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dude flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sherwood anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dude and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sherwood slips an arm under Dude chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sherwood has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sherwood is squeezing on Dude like an anaconda would it's prey. Dude fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Devon Sherwood!
Post fight, an emotional Devon Sherwood said 'Hell Ya free vip for my manager!!!!'.
