Ennis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cotton Eye Joe. Charlie Terkey has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Aaron Ennis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Ennis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Terkey!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Terkey.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Terkey is defended easily by Ennis.
Terkey lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Aaron Ennis has been cut.
Terkey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Terkey is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Ennis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Terkey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Terkey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Terkey tries to move to mount but Ennis blocks the move with his legs.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ennis is working to avoid the ground and pound but Terkey connects with a decent elbow.
Terkey creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ennis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ennis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Terkey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ennis quickly recovers to half guard.

Terkey unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Ennis wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Terkey celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

In defeat, Aaron Ennis stepped up to the mic, saying 'Your aul lady's aul lady.'.
