Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randolph Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Cunha Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie cracks Almeida with a big right hand and Almeida goes down!
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Almeida is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Almeida has wrist control.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Almeida holds on and takes a little breather.

Almeida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Almeida is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Almeida is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
