Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Angle Kurtis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jefferson Talbot!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talbot scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Angle Kurtis has been cut.
Kurtis fails with a takedown attempt.

Kurtis looking to score a takedown here. Talbot is defending well but Kurtis drives through and ends up in Talbot's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kurtis is looking to work some ground and pound but Talbot has wrist control.

Talbot utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Talbot is staying active underneath Kurtis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Talbot looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kurtis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Talbot keeps working.

Talbot has hold of Kurtis's hands but Kurtis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Talbot avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kurtis.
Kurtis moves into full mount! Talbot won't be happy about that!
Kurtis landing strikes, looking to finish!
Talbot is working to get back to half guard.
Talbot looks winded!
The referee warns Talbot that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Talbot wants to hold on but Kurtis pushes him away.

Talbot has left one of his arms exposed and Kurtis doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Talbot screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
