The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodri fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jagger has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rodri clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rodri is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Jagger is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Rodri is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jagger gets his way!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rodri is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jagger has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rodri is looking to defend but Jagger has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rodri! Jagger pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rodri taps out and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Devin Jagger thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
