Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rems Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DJ Boom has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rems Ash's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rems Ash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Boom! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ash throws a sloppy head kick and Boom moves out of range easily. Boom fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ash shoots in for a double leg but Boom sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Boom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ash was well out of range. Poor timing from Boom. Ash half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Boom takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Boom misses with a hook. Ash ducked under it nicely. Ash looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boom is fending him off so far but Ash persists. Nope, Boom circles away and we're back to standing. Ash shoots in for a double leg but Boom sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Boom swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rems Ash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ash blocks an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ash drags the fight down to the ground.
Boom trying to control the position from guard on top but Ash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ash seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Boom not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ash has his hands on Boom's head, controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ash looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boom must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ash working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ash dives in for a single leg takedown but Boom sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ash avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boom scores with a jab.
It looks like Rems Ash has been cut. Boom cracks Ash with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ash dives in for a single leg takedown but Boom sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Boom throws out a counter right but Ash avoids it with no problem. Ash misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boom throws a right and a left that both miss. Boom misses with a looping left. Ash appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ash clinches up with Boom and pushes him back against the cage. Boom is trying to maintain a safe position but Ash gets an underhook and turns Boom into the cage. Ash is trying to break free. Ash gets control of Boom's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ash is looking for a triangle but Boom pushes his legs off easily.
Boom got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boom has managed to get both his arms back between Ash's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ash throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ash is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boom defends well. Boom won't allow Ash to get back to his feet. Ash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ash has his hands on Boom's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ash keeping moving, preventing Boom from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boom swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ash throws a right and a left that Boom avoids nicely. Ash shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boom defends it nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boom comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Boom dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rems Ash's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ash closes the distance and clinches up with Boom, looking for a takedown. Ash pushes Boom against the cage but Boom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boom takes a kick to the side of the head. Boom lands a big uppercut and Ash crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ash looks OK. Boom waves Ash back to his feet!
Ash is rocked! Horrible takedown attempt by Ash or perhaps it was just good defense by Boom, which made it look bad. Oh Ash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ash misses with a wild body shot. Ash seems to have got his legs back now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boom cracks Ash with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ash falls to his knees and Boom doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Boom!
