Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Gregory counter with a right hand.
Hopkins thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gregory appears to be looking for a big counter.
Gregory shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gregory is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Gregory looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gregory has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Well, if Gregory is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gregory thows a huge punch but Hopkins dodges it nicely.
Gregory is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Hopkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gregory. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gregory is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hopkins defends it well.

Gregory has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gregory in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hopkins tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gregory!
