Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyndon Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaizon McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaizon McGregor has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lyndon Blackwell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwell shoots and misses

and McGregor counters with a crisp one two that drops Blackwell! McGregor thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Blackwell to his feet! Blackwell is in big trouble!
Blackwell really is a fat lump.

Blackwell shoots in and gets a takedown into McGregor's guard.
McGregor has control of Blackwell's left arm, preventing Blackwell from doing any damage.
Blackwell throws a big right hand that misses.
McGregor controlling the position.
McGregor's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
McGregor tries to strike from the bottom.
McGregor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Blackwell is controlling him.
McGregor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
McGregor pulls Blackwell in close to prevent any damage.
Blackwell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Blackwell stands up from guard. Let's bang!

McGregor throws a combination that misses

and Blackwell counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

McGregor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Blackwell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McGregor swivels and escapes.
McGregor drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Blackwell defends it well.

McGregor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blackwell is trying to defend but McGregor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Blackwell wants to get back to full guard.
Blackwell tries to regain full guard. Instead though, McGregor has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
McGregor landing punches.

Blackwell is rocked!

McGregor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Blackwell is wriggling around trying to escape.
McGregor controlling from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGregor trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Blackwell has left one of his arms exposed and McGregor doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Blackwell screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
