Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sachz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gates comes into the arena with Hell Song blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mason Gates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Sachz! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gates misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gates throws a nice looking combination but Sachz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gates wants to clinch up but Sachz keeps it at a distance. Gates falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sachz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sachz. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sachz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It looks like Sachz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Sachz cracks Gates with a solid left hand. Gates definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sachz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sachz chips away with some ground and pound. Sachz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gates's head. Sachz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sachz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sachz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gates swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sachz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gates misses with a combination
and Sachz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gates's guard. Sachz advances to half guard. Sachz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sachz winds up and cracks Gates with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sachz passes the guard and advances to mount! Gates is breathing heavily. Sachz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sachz drops a big elbow. That's hurt Gates! More shots from Sachz and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Sachz!
