Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Cash!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash misses with a body shot.
Adams throws a nice looking combination but Cash bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cash enables Adams to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cash pushes Adams off and gets back to his feet.

Adams pushes Cash up against the cage in a clinch.

Adams gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Cash kicks Adams off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cash shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Cash shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Adams napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cash gets to mount! Adams was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Cash wants to control the pace but Adams is squirming around nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Adams is trying to reverse the position but instead Cash has taken his back - oops!

Cash is persistently looking for the submission but Adams is defending it well.
Cash doesn't have the hooks in and Adams manages to turn into his guard.
Adams is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Cash is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Adams content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Adams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cash on the ground.
Cash controls Adams momentarily but Adams frees himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cash is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Cash wants to stand up but Adams is controlling him.
Adams not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Adams lands with a nice combination. Cash backs away looking to recover.

Cash feints and as Adams raises his hands in defense, Cash changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Adams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Adams seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Cash wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.
Adams pulls Cash in close to prevent any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cash stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Adams has Cash up against the cage in a clinch.

Cash turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Adams tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cash wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Cash decides to stand back up.

Adams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cash!

Cash explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Adams gets a double leg takedown into Cash's guard.

Cash pushes a forearm under Adams's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Adams is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Johnny Cash!
