Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Khaliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seb Sha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khaliev kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is T-Wayne - Nasty Freestyle. Adam Khaliev has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seb Sha!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Khaliev circles away.
Sha's coach down at Madness MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sha's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sha works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sha throws a shot to the body.

Khaliev closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Sha tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sha swings wildly with an uppercut but Khaliev uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khaliev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khaliev passes Sha's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Khaliev is looking to stall here but Sha recovers full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Khaliev wants to control from the top but Sha keeps moving.
Khaliev tries to free his leg and advance position but Sha is retaining full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Khaliev's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Khaliev stands and throws Sha's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Khaliev advances nicely into full mount.
Khaliev wants to control the pace but Sha is squirming around nicely.

Khaliev goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sha is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sha dips to his left and cracks Khaliev with an uppercut!
Khaliev stalks Sha and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sha's face. Sha staggers backwards, shaken.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sha lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Khaliev backwards.

Khaliev tries to stall but Sha uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Sha throws a punch but it's blocked by Khaliev.

Sha postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Khaliev badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sha around the waist but Sha pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sha is the winner by TKO! Sha jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seb Sha!
