Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lotza Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane McLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fury's entrance music is Roll On Up. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Shane McLain enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lotza Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane McLain!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLain tries to bum rush Fury with a series of wild strikes but Fury uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fury appears to be looking for a big counter.
Fury displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McLain throws out the jab.
Fury takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Shane McLain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fury shoots in and bounces McLain off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fury trying to control the position from guard on top but McLain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McLain has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Fury has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Fury wants to take the fight to the mat but McLain manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Fury has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fury has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McLain avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Fury tries to pull guard but McLain holds him up against the cage and eventually Fury drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotza Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McLain breaks from the clinch.
McLain fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fury on the side of the head.

McLain looks to land a left hand but Fury moved out of range nicely.
Fury shoots for a takedown but McLain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McLain connects with the punch.
Fury tries to clinch there but McLain circles away.
Fury shoots in for a double leg but McLain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fury shoots in for a takedown but McLain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McLain lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

McLain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fury to score an easy takedown into full guard.

McLain scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fury thuds a left hand into McLain's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McLain displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fury.
Fury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McLain but McLain pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fury looks to throw the jab but McLain is out of range.
McLain lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fury takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McLain connects with a nice looking jab.
Fury fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McLain works the jab nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for McLain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McLain has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
McLain lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McLain defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fury.
McLain looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McLain lands a jab to the head.
McLain lands an overhand right.
McLain is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fury had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
McLain stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.
Fury takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McLain is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fury looks for a takedown but McLain sprawls well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fury fails to land the takedown.

McLain lands a big shot that drops Fury! Can he finish him?


It looks like Lotza Fury has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fury is trying to keep McLain in close.

McLain stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Good shot there by McLain.
Fury tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McLain paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McLain swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Shane McLain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fury.
McLain looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane McLain dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lotza Fury's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


McLain lands with a straight right. Fury didn't see that one coming.
McLain might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Fury fails to land the takedown.
A punch lands to the side of Fury 's head but he takes it in his stride.

A jab-cross combination lands for McLain and sends Fury crashing to the mat! McLain follows him down to the mat - Fury regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fury keeps control of the position for the meantime.
McLain wants to stand up but Fury has a hold of him and won't allow it.

McLain decides to stand and escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fury takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McLain has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McLain gets caught flat footed, as Fury shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

McLain manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
McLain blocks an uppercut.
Fury is trying to pull guard but McLain turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

McLain breaks from the clinch.
Fury shoots in looking for a takedown. McLain tries to sprawl out of it but Fury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McLain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotza Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and McLain counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from McLain does it's job there.
McLain throws a right and a left that Fury avoids nicely.

McLain jabs Fury right on the nose. Fury blinks but takes it well.
McLain scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fury in his tracks.


Fury is rocked!
McLain throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McLain cracks Fury on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Fury falls backwards against the cage. McLain follows up with more strikes that drop Fury to his knees. McLain keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Fury! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane McLain!
Shane McLain decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Lotza Fury was interviewed post fight and said 'Thats Bullshiiiit... I waz robbed'.
