The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelsson misses the shot to the body.
Walker only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Axelsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Walker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Axelsson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Axelsson moves into range and clinches up with Walker.
Axelsson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Axelsson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walker.
Axelsson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Walker can pounce on him.
Nice cross by Walker.
Axelsson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.
Axelsson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Axelsson moves out of range of the leg kick from Walker.
Axelsson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Walker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ansgar Axelsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That kick from Axelsson tenderised Walker's leg. Walker is trying to keep his angry face on.

Axelsson closes the distance and pushes Walker back into the cage.
Axelsson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Axelsson pushes Walker back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Axelsson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Walker tries to work over Axelsson's front leg with a kick but Axelsson checks it.

Walker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Axelsson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Walker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Axelsson misses with the combination.
Walker scores with a push kick.
Walker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Axelsson's calf.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Axelsson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Walker misses with a head kick.
Axelsson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Axelsson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Walker's calf.
Walker takes one to the chin there.
Walker misses with an attempted mid kick.

The fighters circling - Axelsson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Axelsson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Axelsson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Axelsson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Walker is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Axelsson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Axelsson!! Axelsson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Walker throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
