The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thor lands with a kick to the ribs.
A low kick from Smith misses
and Thor counters with a nice uppercut.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thor lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Smith has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Smith and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Thor tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Smith throws out a counter right but Thor avoids it with no problem.
Thor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smith's sensitive parts.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Smith tries to land a front kick but Thor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thor finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Thor turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Thor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Thor needs to keep his hands up - Smith had a free shot at his head there.
That kick from Smith tenderised Thor's leg. Thor is trying to keep his angry face on.

Smith steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Thor.

Both fighters circling a little - Thor finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thor swings widly with a right hand
and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hans Thor's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Thor throws a low kick but Smith avoids it.
Hans Thor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
