The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza lands with a slapping head kick.
Khaan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Khaan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but De Souza circles away quickly and effectively.

No joy there for Khaan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De Souza does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
De Souza clobbers Khaan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Khaan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

De Souza lands with an uppercut that bounces Khaan off the cage and back into range.

Good leg kick by De Souza there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
De Souza lands with a kick to the temple. Khaan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and De Souza counters with an outside leg kick.
De Souza swings for the body but Khaan moves out of range.
Khaan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
De Souza is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Khaan swings widly with a right hand
and De Souza makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
De Souza looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
De Souza lands the left hand.
De Souza moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Khaan throws a jab when De Souza was well out of range.

And De Souza counters with a quick kick to the body but Khaan blocks it.
De Souza lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Khaan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Souza sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from De Souza on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Khaan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Souza moves away.
De Souza stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Khaan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Khaan misses with a low kick.

De Souza buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

De Souza feints and then cracks Khaan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Khaan down.

De Souza closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Khaan! De Souza dives in looking to finish! Khaan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
