The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hightower misses with a head kick.
Hightower misses with a few strikes there.
Umanouke drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hightower defends it well.
Hightower takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hightower throws a series of punches but Umanouke moves out of range.
Hightower misses with a combination
and Umanouke makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A head kick by Hightower misses
and Hightower takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A combination from Hightower does no damage.
Hightower misses with a head kick.
Umanouke scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Umanouke scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Umanouke scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hightower to see if he's OK.
It looks like Michal Hightower has been cut.
Hightower is breathing heavily.
Umanouke works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Umanouke is working to tighten his grip on Hightower's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hightower has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Umanouke is really squeezing tight and eventually Hightower passes out! Umanouke breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
