Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jax McCleary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCleary comes to the cage accompanied by Gwen Stacy - Gone Fishing See You In a Year. Harrison has chosen The Warrior Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jax McCleary! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Harrison! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Harrison. No joy for McCleary on that attempt. Harrison tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. McCleary fails with a takedown attempt. Harrison tries to counter by closing the distance. McCleary ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harrison moves away. McCleary has his takedown stuffed and Harrison counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Harrison. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jax McCleary. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison stalling the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McCleary shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harrison defends it nicely. McCleary drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harrison sneaks out the side door and pushes McCleary away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. McCleary fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCleary shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harrison but Harrison pushes him off and we're back to square one. McCleary shoots in looking for a takedown but Harrison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McCleary's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Harrison stuffs the takedown. McCleary wants to clinch up but Harrison keeps it at a distance. Horrible takedown attempt by McCleary or perhaps it was just good defense by Harrison, which made it look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McCleary with a poor takedown and Harrison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Harrison misses with a shot to the kidneys.

McCleary gets a double leg takedown into Harrison's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCleary wants to pass the guard but Harrison is keeping the position. McCleary stopping the sweep attempt from Harrison. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McCleary avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McCleary wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McCleary. McCleary fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harrison sprawls well initially but McCleary persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McCleary landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Harrison wants to improve his position but McCleary is controlling well.
McCleary will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McCleary is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harrison is just riding it out for now. McCleary eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison is trying to get back to full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harrison can do anything to dispel that myth. Harrison won't allow McCleary to pass to mount. McCleary sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Harrison defending well though. Nice strikes from McCleary there. Harrison tries to roll over but McCleary keeps him under control. McCleary seems to be looking for submissions.

Harrison is looking to escape. Harrison wants to get back to full guard. McCleary is trying to control. Harrison wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jax McCleary overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McCleary is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Harrison is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. McCleary closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harrison circles away. McCleary shoots in for a takedown but Harrison shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Harrison unleashes a big counter combination but McCleary bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jax McCleary. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jax McCleary will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
McCleary shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harrison as he jumps to the side. Harrison appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. McCleary shoots and misses and Harrison counters with an outside leg kick.

McCleary fails with the takedown. McCleary shoots in but no luck this time. Harrison lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. McCleary fails with a takedown attempt. A big right from McCleary misses.

Harrison tries a quick counter leg kick but McCleary is wise to it. McCleary changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harrison tries to avoid it but McCleary manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harrison to the ground. Harrison escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McCleary misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. McCleary tries for a takedown but Harrison circles away easily and Harrison counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Harrison has hold of one of McCleary's legs. McCleary is fighting the takedown attempt but Harrison gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Harrison in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Harrison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Harrison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
