Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adverage Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adverage Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Joe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! You can see the frustration on Ortiz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ortiz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Joe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Joe winds up and cracks Ortiz with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Joe sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ortiz is trying to maintain the position but Joe is very close to passing his half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Joe connects with a nice short shot to Ortiz's temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ortiz looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ortiz tries to roll over but Joe keeps him under control. Ortiz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Joe pulls his head out easily.

Joe slips a nice elbow through Ortiz's hands, connecting with Ortiz's forehead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joe lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Joe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ortiz looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ortiz gets full guard. Ortiz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Joe is one step ahead there. That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The two fighters exchange a few words. Joe is aware though and is defending well. Joe stays in close to Ortiz's body and controls the position. Ortiz looking for a guillotine here but Joe defends easily.

Joe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ortiz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Adverage Joe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ortiz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

No, Joe has managed to get both his arms back between Ortiz's legs - danger averted. Joe controlling from the top position. Joe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ortiz working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortiz moves into the clinch. Ortiz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Joe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ortiz is trying to break free. Ortiz pressing his opponent against the cage. Joe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ortiz after a bit of a struggle. Joe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Ortiz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Joe regains guard immediately. Joe lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe lands a couple of digs. Ortiz has his foot on Joe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Joe works his way back into a safe position though. Joe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ortiz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Joe is working Ortiz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ortiz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Adverage Joe dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Ortiz gets caught napping as Joe dives in and scores a takedown. Ortiz manages to retain guard. Ortiz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Joe defends it easily. Ortiz is looking for a triangle here but Joe uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ortiz tries to buck Joe off but Joe is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Ortiz is trying to control Joe's posture but Joe avoids it. Ortiz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ortiz taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Joe scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Ortiz is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Joe can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
