Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arlington Beech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beech comes to the cage accompanied by You Know My Name. Still has chosen Krayzie Bone - Silent Warrior as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Arlington Beech! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dre Still! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beech lands with a good body shot. Still tries for a takedown but Beech circles away easily and Beech counters with a lovely straight right hand! Still scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Beech takes a swing at Still's ribcage but misses. We've been informed that Still has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Still displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Beech throws out the jab. Still scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Beech doesn't seem bothered though. Beech swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Still tries to keep at a distance but Beech has taken the fight into the clinch. Beech blocking some punches.

Beech tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Still manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Still wants to sweep here but Beech controlling him for the moment. Still is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Beech manages to capitalize on a mistake by Still to take his back! Still tries to escape the position.
Still manages to reverse the position and now he's in Beech's guard. Nice work there by Still.
Beech keeping moving, preventing Still from controlling successfully. Still has gone for a leg lock! Beech slips out almost immediately though and dives into Still's guard. Beech's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Beech won't allow Still to sweep him here. Still lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Still wants to control from the top but Beech keeps moving. Still keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Beech's head. Beech is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Still has a hand on Beech's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Beech takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Still is looking to improve his position but Beech isn't that keen on the idea. Still regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Arlington Beech will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Still shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beech as he jumps to the side. Still manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beech on his heels. He'll look to pass Beech's guard now, I'm sure. Beech working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Still. Still trying to control the position from guard on top but Beech is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Still works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beech moves into full guard.

Still is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Still wants to improve his position but Beech is controlling well.

Still has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Still throws his legs up looking for a submission but Beech uses it to pass to side control.
Still sneaks back into half guard. Still is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beech's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beech's back! Still looking for the RNC. Still working for a choke but Beech is defending well. You can see the frustration on Beech's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beech trying to control the position but Still manages to sink in the hooks. Still looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Beech is controlling Still 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Still wants to improve his position but instead Beech has moved into half guard.
Still looking for submissions off his back. Still strikes from the bottom but Beech uses the opportunity to move to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still is trying to get back to half guard. Beech is looking to take a break and control but Still is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Still trying to remain calm as Beech controls from the top position. Still gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Still wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Beech is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Beech creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Beech lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Still to his knees! Beech keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
