Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Dolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mick Dolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dolan moves into range and clinches up with Sanchez. Sanchez throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dolan goes for a takedown attempt but Sanchez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sanchez lands a nice looking body kick. Sanchez tries to clinch up and Dolan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Dolan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dolan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dolan controlling from mount. Sanchez is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sanchez tries to hold on but Dolan postures up. Dolan pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Dolan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Dolan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sanchez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mick Dolan. Dolan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sanchez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Dolan tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sanchez moves in looking to clinch but Dolan pushes him off. Dolan shoots in and bounces Sanchez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sanchez wants to sweep here but Dolan controlling him for the moment. Dolan wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving. Sanchez wants to stand but Dolan is controlling the position. Dolan trying to control but Sanchez is working from the bottom. Dolan stops Sanchez from standing up. Sanchez looking for a sweep. Not yet Sanchez, not yet.

Dolan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sanchez sprawls well initially but Dolan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sanchez is not content to let Dolan control the position. Dolan prevents Sanchez from standing back up.
Dolan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dolan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dolan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sanchez wants to clinch and Sanchez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Dolan dominated that round. That's time! Dolan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dolan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sanchez being controlled for a moment. Check out the look on Dolan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Sanchez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dolan asserts his dominance and retains side control. Sanchez prevents Dolan from improving position. That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Dolan trying to control the action but Sanchez is working from the bottom. Sanchez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Sanchez is not content to let Dolan control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mick Dolan. Dolan moves into the clinch. Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanchez drives through and clinches with Dolan against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dolan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sanchez can't fight it off and eventually Dolan manages to take the fight to the floor. Sanchez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dolan won't allow Sanchez to get back to his feet. Dolan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sanchez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dolan controls the position. Dolan trying to control the position but Sanchez is working away. Sanchez gets back to half guard. Dolan stops Sanchez from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dolan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dolan pushes down on Sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sanchez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Dolan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Sanchez tries to get to full guard but Dolan has control of the leg. Dolan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sanchez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dolan gets caught flat footed, as Sanchez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dolan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Mick Dolan dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sanchez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dolan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sanchez punching from the bottom.
Sanchez is looking to control Dolan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanchez avoid being mounted? Dolan passes to side control. Sanchez tries to buck Dolan off but Dolan is having none of it. Dolan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanchez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sanchez is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez tries to strike but it doesn't land. Sanchez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dolan advances to full mount. Dolan trying to control the action but Sanchez is working from the bottom. Eddie Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanchez throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Dolan gets to mount! Sanchez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Sanchez tries to lock up and control but Dolan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dolan looking to control and managing it successfully. Dolan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sanchez looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dolan looking to control and managing it successfully. Sanchez is looking to get to half guard. Sanchez really wants to buck Dolan off and get back to his feet. Dolan controlling the pace for now. Sanchez tries to hold on but Dolan postures up. Sanchez is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

And that's the end of the fight! Mick Dolan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dolan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
