Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christoper Hendricks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edmond Dantes! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dantes. Dantes throws a leg kick but Hendricks sees it coming and checks it nicely. It looked like Hendricks was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Hendricks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dantes has picked Hendricks up - he's going for a ride! Dantes dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Dantes lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dantes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hendricks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hendricks punching from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hendricks is trying to get back to full guard. Hendricks is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dantes pulls his head out easily. Hendricks is trying to stand back up but Dantes is controlling him
Hendricks is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dantes landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hendricks tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Dantes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hendricks looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hendricks is breathing heavily. Dantes working the head and body with strikes. Hendricks looking for submissions off his back. Hendricks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dantes lands strikes from half guard. Hendricks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dantes on the ground. Dantes is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dantes lands a big elbow - Hendricks is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Dantes!
