Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onanias Runkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runkman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Anderson Silva DANCING Justin Bieber SONG. Shaw has chosen Family Force 5 - Chainsaw as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Onanias Runkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Shaw! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Runkman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Runkman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Runkman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Shaw defending well though. Runkman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Runkman trying to control from half guard but Shaw is working away. Shaw is looking to improve his position.
Runkman thows a huge punch but Shaw dodges it nicely.
Runkman is looking to take a break and control but Shaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Runkman in particular looking to stall. Shaw is not content to let Runkman control the position. Runkman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Runkman trying to control from Shaw's half guard. Shaw has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Shaw is adopting a defensive guard. Shaw keeping full guard, as Runkman tries to pass. Runkman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Runkman throws a big right hand that misses. Shaw wants to hit a switch here but Runkman passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Shaw there! Shaw is looking to improve his position but Runkman isn't that keen on the idea. Shaw has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Runkman's lack of action.

Runkman wants to take a breather but Shaw is having none of it. Shaw keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Shaw is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Runkman scores with a couple of nice shots. Shaw is refusing to be controlled, as Runkman sits in half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Shaw moves into full guard.

Runkman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shaw manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Runkman has Shaw in his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to control from the top but Runkman keeps moving. Runkman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Runkman has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Shaw has passed into side control.
Runkman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Runkman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Shaw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Runkman tries to roll over but Shaw keeps him under control. Shaw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Runkman sees it coming and defends easily. Shaw perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Runkman looking for submissions off his back. Shaw trying to mount his opponent but Runkman defends it. Runkman manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shaw passes Runkman's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Onanias Runkman dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Runkman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Shaw moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Runkman takes a swing at Shaw's ribcage but misses. Runkman scores with a shot to the body.

letting Shaw counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw ducks under a wild hook from Runkman. Runkman lands with a cross. Runkman swings away with a body shot that misses
and Shaw counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Runkman dives in for a single leg takedown but Shaw sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Runkman loads up on a big right hand but Shaw slips the punch. Shaw takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Runkman swinging wildly here.
Shaw raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Runkman.
Shaw steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Runkman. Shaw with a hook. Runkman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Runkman scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Runkman ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A punch lands to the side of Shaw 's head but he takes it in his stride. Runkman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shaw ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Runkman swings for the body but Shaw moves out of range.
Shaw let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Runkman takes a swing at Shaw's ribcage but misses. Shaw looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Runkman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Shaw's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Runkman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shaw scrambles back to his feet. Runkman throws a looping overhand right but Shaw ducks down to avoid it. Shaw tries to counter by closing the distance. Runkman lands a right hook to the body.
Runkman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shaw. Shaw circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Shaw moves out of range of the strikes. Onanias Runkman is winning the standup battle so far. Shaw keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Shaw looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Runkman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shaw can do to turn this around? Runkman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shaw. Shaw throws a big counter head kick but Runkman avoids it with no problem. Runkman misses with a right hand and Shaw counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Runkman throws a looping overhand right but Shaw ducks down to avoid it. Runkman misses the shot to the body. Shaw was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Shaw takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Shaw takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shaw staying out of range there. Shaw tries to counter with a clinch but Runkman shakes him off and moves away. A shot to the body from Runkman misses and Shaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shaw defending well as Runkman loads up on a big left hand. Runkman fails to land with a series of punches.
Decent striking displayed by Shaw there. Runkman throws a body shot but no joy. Shaw wants to counter with a clinch but Runkman pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Onanias Runkman dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Shaw can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Runkman tries to advance to mount but can't. Shaw wants to control but Runkman postures up. Shaw tries to buck Runkman off but Runkman is having none of it.

Runkman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Runkman missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Shaw taking some punishment here, with Runkman in his half guard. Runkman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shaw knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Runkman trying to control from half guard but Shaw is working away. Runkman wants to advance to full mount but Shaw doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Runkman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Runkman keeping moving, preventing Shaw from controlling successfully. Shaw passes Runkman's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Runkman is trying to get back to full guard. Runkman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Shaw wants to control from the top but Runkman keeps moving.

Runkman regains half guard. Jack Shaw has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shaw wants to control but Runkman is keeping him busy. Runkman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Runkman works his way to full guard. Good work. Runkman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shaw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Runkman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shaw is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Runkman working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Shaw has passed into half guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Shaw not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Runkman is pressing down on Shaw's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Shaw got a little sloppy there for a moment and Runkman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shaw has managed to get both his arms back between Runkman's legs - danger averted. Shaw must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Runkman is looking for a triangle here but Shaw uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Runkman is trying to work for a sweep but Shaw has mounted him!
And that's the end of the fight! Onanias Runkman showed his dominance in that final round. Well Runkman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
