The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Houtman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nogueira throws a big right hand that misses.
Nogueira slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Nogueira is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, De Houtman has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sloppy strikes there by Nogueira.
Nogueira tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nogueira has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nogueira passes to full mount! That's big trouble for De Houtman!
Nogueira looking to control but De Houtman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
De Houtman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nogueira on the ground.

Nogueira throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
De Houtman wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Nogueira.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! De Houtman is forced to tap!
