Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Clarke! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wilson lands in his opponent's guard. Wilson throws a big elbow that misses. Wilson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wilson is working Clarke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wilson is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson tries to free his leg and advance position but Clarke is retaining full guard. Wilson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wilson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wilson connects with a couple of short punches. Wilson is in close to Clarke's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wilson with a nice head shot there. Wilson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wilson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson landing some decent shots from guard. Wilson distracts Clarke with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Clarke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wilson controls the pace.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clarke wants to stand up but Wilson is controlling him.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wilson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wilson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Clarke throws Wilson to one side and escapes!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wilson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Clarke clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Clarke up.
Wilson lands an elbow to the side of the head. Can Clarke hold on?! Wilson is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Clarke is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wilson is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Wilson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Adam Clarke has been cut. Wilson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The referee warns Clarke that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Clarke wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wilson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Wilson! In his post fight interview, Mark Wilson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
